Radius Trench Drain at District Wharf Washington, DC

Case Studies, Installations

District Wharf is a large multi-use development that sits on the Potomac River. Eric’sons was asked to design and create a pre-manufactured radius trench system that would be installed adjacent to cut granite stone steps on one side with a organic back fill on the other.

This drain is part of a beautiful water feature located on the property. The drain system was built to the designers vision and installed by the landscape contractor.

It utilized a pre-sloped trench body, catch basins, custom stainless steel radius frame specific for this install, and a stainless steel ADA radius slotted grate.

Like all of the DuraTrench radius linear drains the tolerances are kept very tight so the drain can fit smoothly against other features like steps, walls, or fountains.
