8-inch Wide Medium Duty Perforated Galvanized Steel Grate
- 12-Gauge stamped perforated galvanized steel with ADA-compliant openings
- Galvanized steel for excellent corrosion resistance
- Architectural grade grate is rated for DIN load class B
- Typically used on a 6″ wide prefabricated trench drain or 6″ wide catch basin
- Excellent slip resistance
- Use this grate in pedestrian and residential parking areas
- The purpose of the small openings is to act as a screen to keep solids on top of the trench drain, preventing the solids from entering the trench drain channel
- Use this grate as an economical alternative to stainless steel in pedestrian areas
- Because of the small openings, proper maintenance is required to maintain the adequate inflow of water to the drainage system
