Position overview: The Spray Room General Laborer will assist the Spray Department in the manufacture of fiberglass trench drains and related components.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety processes and procedures related to handling raw materials and operating equipment
- Follow customer orders and spec sheets to avoid waste and rework
- Work consistently to meet daily production output goals
- Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process
- Efficiently stack pallets with finished products (trenches and grates)
- Prep, clean and polish forms
- Assist inside the spray booth to move molds and roll parts (respirator required)
- Perform quality checks on manufactured parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Complete paperwork
- Move finished product to other departments using a rolling cart or a forklift
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Dependability and reliability to report to work are a must
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- At least 1 year of manufacturing or shipping & receiving experience preferred but not required
- Bilingual (English and Spanish, both oral and written) preferred
- Must be able to read a tape measure and use a variety of hand tools
- Must be able to wear a respirator (requires face to be clean shaven
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
